just how tall them mountains stand
just how long it takes to get here
when all I want is to bury my head in the sand
And oh! they speak of nations
but all I hear are lips a-flappin
and all I see are barbed-wire fences
slicing hideously across the land
and policemen with nondescript faces
holding guns against the doorways into places
(when all there is is sky and treetops)
